1. Must I be a fuel customer to purchase a maintenance agreement on my heating system?

Although we would love to have you for a customer, you do not need to purchase your oil from us in order to receive all of the benefits of our "world-class" service and installation expertise.

2. Do you provide same-day service?

Yes we do. There may be times during extreme cold or bad weather that we cannot, but that is very rare.

3. Do you provide after-hours service?

Yes we do. We provide service 24/7.

4. Do you charge extra (i.e., overtime or a flat response charge) after hours?

There are no extra charges for our Planned Agreement customers. Otherwise, we do charge a flat trip fee and a diagnostic charge.

5. Do you service all brands?

We service all brands of heating and air conditioning equipment. Heat pumps, oil fired, gas fired, electric...no problem.

6. Do you carry parts on your truck?

Each vehicle carries an inventory of over $4000.00 dollars on it. However, this does not guarantee that we will always have the part you may require. We keep a warehouse with almost $300,000 of additional inventory on it. If your part isn't there, chances are that one of our distributor partners will have what you need.

7. How long will I have to wait if you don't have the part?

Most parts can be delivered within 24 hours.

8. How much do you charge by the hour?

We do not charge by the hour, we charge by the repair. That way everyone pays the same amount for the same repair regardless of how long it took the Tech to get to you or how long it takes for the repair.

9. How much is a service call? (i.e., how much to show up?)

Our trip fee is $49.00 and we charge $15.00 for each quarter hour it takes the technician to diagnose the repair, (normally this takes no more than 30 minutes).

10. Will you quote me a price in advance?

Once our technician has properly diagnosed the problem, we will quote you a price to perform the required repair.

11. Do you employ NATE certified technicians?

Yes we do. Currently 50% of our technicians are NATE certified. By the end of the year we will be above 80% with a 12 month of goal of attaining 100%.

12. Are you a member of ACCA?

Yes we are.

13. Are you a member of PHCC?

Yes we are.

14. What other organizations do you belong to?

We belong to most trade organizations such as Service Roundtable, NCI, International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, and the Radiant Panel Association.

15. Do you use sub-contractors?

Yes we do on occasion. This is primarily for Duct work renovations, or carpentry that is required after an installation or repair is made.

16. Do I have to be at home when you come?

Yes. Someone over the age of 18 must be home.

17. What kind of guarantee or warranty do you offer?

We offer a 1 year guarantee on all repairs that we make.

18. Are there any tax credits or rebates available on new purchases?

Currently there is a tax credit of up to $1500.00 being offered on all new systems that meet certain criteria. Simply installing a new high efficiency unit doesn't necessarily mean that it will qualify for the credit.

19. What can you do for me to help control allergies and asthma?

We highly recommend the use of an excellent filtration system, a UV air purifier, and proper humidity control.
